How to Prepare a Graphic Design for a Rectangular Label for Printing?

The graphic design of the tag - label should be prepared in the size that matches the template of the ordered product. The template and its description are available on the left side of the product configurator. When designing, you should keep a margin of at least 3 mm and, in the case of a non-white background, a 2 mm bleed (the background of the design must be larger than the final format of the product). The print-ready design should be delivered in PDF X-3 format (check the PDF export options in your application).

How to Prepare a Graphic Design for a Label of a Shape Other than a Rectangle?

The design should be prepared in the size that matches the ordered product. Prepare the PDF document so that the first page contains the print design, and the second page contains the vector outline for cutting. The placement of the outline on the second page should correspond to the placement of the print design on the first page of the PDF document. The print-ready tag design should be delivered in PDF/X-3 format (check the PDF export options in your application).

The label design completion time is agreed individually and is not included in the order completion time given in the product configurator on the printing house's website.

What Substrates Are Used for Printing Tags and Labels?

How Are Clothing Tags and Labels Printed?

Printing is done in full color Euroscale CMYK or Pantone at a high resolution of 2400 DPI, allowing photos, texts, and graphic signs to be reproduced in the finest detail. CMYK color prints can be ordered starting from 100 pieces. Printing in special Pantone colors, which allows the use of inks such as gold, silver, neon, and others (unavailable in the CMYK palette), is only available for large series ( > thousands of pieces).

What Size and Shape Can a Custom Tag or Label Have?

The configurator on our printing house’s website allows you to order simple and folded clothing tags in any format and shape. For simple and folded tags, options are available to choose the type of corners (straight or rounded) and the size and placement of the hole. If you select a custom shape tag, the shape of the tag can be any.

What Enhancements Are Available for Printing Tags and Labels?

To enhance the appearance of the tags, you can choose from several options that improve their look.

Full Surface Enhancements:

Selective Decorations (applied to selected elements):

Where Do We Drill the Hole for the Hang Tag?

Holes can be placed in the center or in the corner. Holes are drilled 5 mm from the edge of the label.

What Is the Lead Time and Price for Printed Tags and Labels?

The product configurator available on the printing house’s website quickly calculates the lead time and price of the product. Two lead times are available: standard or express. We invite you to contact the printing house to negotiate an individual lead time for printing tags if needed.
