Foiling

Foiling very well protects the surface of printed materials against abrasion, scratching or surface getting wet, giving them greater stiffness and a better appearance.

There are three types of foiling:

• matte
• shiny
• soft touch (soft to the touch)

Glossy foil increases color depth and contrast, while matte/soft touch foil reduces it. We especially recommend matte/soft touch foiling in combination with a glossy selective UV varnish.

Thermal printing (hotprint) - allows you to print an object or inscription in the form of a metalized object. Under the influence of temperature, a pattern/inscription is hot-welded into metallic foil using a special die. The most popular hotprint colors are gold and silver.
